Darash Ahava Foundation

Rooted in Love. Built to Heal.

Darash Ahava, Hebrew for "Seek Love", was founded on a simple truth: human beings heal through connection. Everything we build flows from that belief.

Who We Are

About Us

Darash Ahava Foundation is an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, in the Greater Phoenix area. We exist to address the root causes of human suffering through structured emotional wellness tools, healing community spaces, and global humanitarian partnerships.

Our work spans three interconnected pathways: professional training for institutions, the Gym For The Soul healing center vision, and a global NGO partnership program reaching vulnerable communities in the US, India, and Nepal.

Our Mission
"The name Darash Ahava means Seek Love. In Hebrew, it is an instruction, an imperative. We seek love in every program we build, every partnership we form, and every life we touch."

Founder, Darash Ahava Foundation

Board of Directors

David Widerhorn

Founder & President

David Widerhorn

David Widerhorn is the Founder and President of the Darash Ahava Foundation and a serial entrepreneur and business magnate whose ventures span real estate, finance, technology, and beyond. His flagship company is Modern Masterpieces, a luxury estate builder known for technologically advanced homes designed for the AI era. As technology began outpacing construction and leaving luxury homes exposed, Modern Masterpieces helped fund and create the New Estate Standard Institute, which is pioneering a new global standard for AI-era resilience in luxury homes. Its signature residence, Elysium, is a $15 million Scottsdale estate and an NES model home that The Wall Street Journal featured for its forward-looking security and resilience.

His interests reach well beyond real estate into fintech and enterprise AI, built on a technologist's foundation. David graduated from MIT at nineteen and spent the next decade at the frontier of quantitative finance, building high-frequency trading systems and founding a fintech consultancy that served more than 100 trading firms. In 2015 he founded Neurensic, an AI company whose platform used machine learning to detect market manipulation; the work earned him Inc. Magazine's 30 Under 30 in 2016, and Neurensic was acquired by Trading Technologies International in 2017.

At the height of that success, David faced a private struggle with trauma and disconnection that no achievement could reach. Healing changed his life, and he founded Darash Ahava to make that possibility available to everyone. Today he leads its mission of emotional healing, guided by the Jewish value of Tikkun Olam, and has pledged a minimum of 20% of Modern Masterpieces' profits to the Foundation.

Director

Ari Jakobov

Ari Jakobov is a real estate entrepreneur and the founder of The Jakobov Group in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he ranks among the top 1% of agents in Arizona. He brings the same discipline and commitment that built his business to his work with the Darash Ahava Foundation.

Ari believes success is a platform for service. Guided by Proverbs 3:27, "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act," he leads with integrity, compassion, and responsibility in every area of his life.

As a Director of the Darash Ahava Foundation, Ari helps advance its mission of helping people heal, reconnect, and rediscover meaning through acts of love and service. He views giving not as charity but as a calling, an opportunity to lift others up and lead by example. For Ari, true success is measured not by recognition but by how many lives are positively impacted along the way.

Leadership Team

The people behind Darash Ahava bring deep expertise in emotional wellness, community building, and humanitarian work.

Angela Sinagoga

Program Director (US)

Angela Sinagoga

Angela Sinagoga brings nearly three decades of real estate expertise to the Darash Ahava Foundation. A licensed REALTOR® since 1996, she began her career at CB Richard Ellis and became a founding principal of Luxury Home Magazine, working at the forefront of the luxury market since 2006. That career sharpened her instincts for strategy, operations, and client service, and she brings the same discipline to running the Foundation's programs and administration.

Angela's heart, though, has always been with children. She holds a degree from the University of Arizona and a graduate degree in elementary education from Grand Canyon University, and she has spent years working with children in her community. That experience shapes how she leads programs on the ground, with the patience, warmth, and understanding that working with young people requires.

That combination is what she brings to Darash Ahava: the discipline to build and run programs, and the compassion of someone who has spent her life caring for children. She helps make sure the Foundation's work reaches the people it is meant to serve.
