Darash Ahava Foundation Brings Healing Mission to Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show, Raising Funds for Equine Therapy Programs

The Darash Ahava Foundation took its mission to the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show this past February, hosting a booth (February 12-22) to raise awareness and funds for its equine therapy program, which is currently in research and development.

The Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show is the largest Arabian horse show in the world, drawing tens of thousands of visitors from across the globe to WestWorld of Scottsdale each year. For the Foundation, it represented a natural and strategic opportunity to connect with an audience that already understands the profound relationship between humans and animals and the healing that relationship can produce.

The Foundation is developing an equine therapy program and is actively seeking licensed equine therapy practitioners and partners to help bring it to life. The approach would pair individuals with trained therapy horses in structured sessions designed to reduce anxiety, rebuild trust, and create the kind of felt emotional safety that traditional talk therapy can sometimes take months to reach. The equine program is envisioned as one of the offerings of Gym For The Soul, a planned community healing center coming to Scottsdale, Arizona.

During the Arabian Horse Show, Foundation representatives spent several days speaking with attendees, collecting donor information, and building relationships with equine therapy professionals and potential partners who could play a role in bringing the program to life.

For many visitors who stopped at the booth, it was their first introduction to the Darash Ahava Foundation and its broader mission of making emotional healing accessible to everyone regardless of means.
